High school students from throughout Middlesex County produced 30-second public service announcements to warn their friends and classmates about the dangers of driving while impaired or distracted.

NCADD’s Footprints for Life™ program was recently approved for listing on The National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP). It is the first curriculum from New Jersey to receive this recognition and the only program designed specifically to promote social competencies in early elementary school students to be listed.

The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) of Middlesex County, Inc. has launched a Web-based interactive screening tool designed to provide users with appropriate referrals to addiction treatment services. NCADD already operates a confidential Information and Referral Helpline, assisting nearly a thousand individuals and their families each year.

NCADD of Middlesex County, Inc. continues to add online training courses for addiction treatment and prevention professionals. These courses have been approved by the Certification Board.

The Coalition for Healthy Communities brings together professionals from multiple disciplines who have a passion for the prevention and treatment of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse problems.
